Summary

In Chapter 7, Moon quickly catches a mountain goat, which surprises some of the others. Moon offers to share but only Qibli accepts. Kinkajou is eating fruit (which RainWings prefer) and Carnelian insists she can find her own. Tsunami and others catch fish and Tsunami says they will take it all back to the prey center. Moon lags, hating the idea of the chaos in the prey center. Darkstalker says she cannot hide. He helps her develop a method for blocking out all the voices except the ones she wants to hear. She is to imagine that every voice is the sound of raindrops. Moon tries to hide Darkstalker's voice but she cannot block him. Moon drops into the prey center cave and hears Kinkajou's scrambled thoughts. She tries Darkstalker's method which works until Kinkajou thinks that Moon is “All quiet on the outside...
