Chapters 29 and 30 Summary

They send the little kids to their rooms. They drag Robbie's body away and they stabilize Brayden, who was shot in the shoulder. Once they make Brayden comfortable, they go to talk to Sahalia. She says Robbie was going to take her with him, but then he started touching her. Josie seeks confirmation that she did the right thing by killing Robbie and they all tell her she did the right thing.

As they settle in to sleep, Astrid tells Dean that she thinks she has lice. He offers to wash her hair. She hands him a pair of scissors saying he has to cut it first. Dean cuts it and then washes it. Dean gives Astrid a ski cap to keep her almost bald head warm.
