Chapters 5 and 6 Summary

Niko, Alex, Brayden, and Jake locate the storeroom. They start pushing icons on the screen to shut off the Ac unit. Instead, the Ac starts blowing the air harder. They decide they have t shut the unit off manually. When they see the hatch in the roof is open, they conclude that Sahalia, a girl Alex's age that was whining about leaving, escaped through the hatch.

When they climb onto the roof, they find Sahalia sitting there looking out at the black cloud on the horizon from NORAD. They also find that the vent ducts to the AC units are torn from the hail so they are going to have to seal off the vents. Niko sends Sahalia to retrieve a sledgehammer so he can pound the vents shut.

As Niko is hammering the vents, the black cloud is moving closer...
