Summary

In “The Peace Process,” Todd narrates and tells the reader that for the past week there have been no Spackle attacks and things have seemed good in the camp. Todd and the Mayor wait as bait for Spackle sneaking into town. When the Spackle get close to them the women bomb them, killing the Spackle. The Mayor believes it is the beginning of the peace process. They are hoping not only to kill all the Spackle, but to be able to capture one alive to send a message back to the Land. The bombs produced by the mistresses are too big to leave any Spackle alive. The Mayor admits he would do the same thing.
