The Last Straw; Liberation Summary and Analysis

Troob's realization of the need to move on came more slowly. Now engaged to Marjorie, and anticipating her move to New York in a few months, Troob realized that he would have not life with her, so long as he remained in the investment banking business. As well, he was selected to engage in recruitment of new associates at his alma mater and found himself lying to potential employees just as others had lied to him.
