Summary

Nate Brodie is a 13-year-old boy who loves football and plays quarterback on his school team. Playing football comes easy to him, but other things in his life have been more challenging lately. School work does not come easy to Nate, and he is very upset about what is happening to his friend, Abby. Nate's friends call him "Brady" because a pro football player, Tom Brady, is his idol. At the beginning of Chapter1, Nate is playing a great game, and he hopes his Mom is catching it all on video to show to his Dad later. Coach Rivers commends Nate for his great throws in the game, and the team wins 22-7.

In Chapter 2, Nate has finally saved up the $500 necessary to buy the Tom Brady limited edition autographed football he had seen at the SportsStuff store a year ago. Nate's parents...
