Alan Christoffersen

Alan once had it all. He had a successful advertising company, an expensive house, and a wife who loved him. In the stretch of a few weeks, Alan lost it all. After the death of his wife, the betrayal of his business partner, and foreclosure on his house, Alan considered taking his own life. Instead, Alan went for a walk and decided to walk to Key West, the furthest point on the map from his home in Seattle, Washington.

After only sixteen days on the road, Alan was attacked by a group of youths who stabbed him three times. Alan wakes in the hospital to discover that his injuries will make it impossible for him to get back on the road until spring. Like an angel from heaven, a woman named Angel offers him a home and a place to recover.
