Fiji Cavanaugh

Fiji, a resident of Midnight, is one of the main characters in the narrative. She is different from most people because she is a witch. However, she has a good nature. She is a nurturing person as depicted by the fact that she is an avid gardener and a trusted member of the community who looks out for the welfare of the town’s inhabitants.

Even though she has a good nature and enjoys her life, she faces struggles with her self confidence about her appearance and abilities as a witch. She laments that she is not a stylish person when she goes to the funeral with Creek. She wants to make her deceased great-aunt proud of her and thinks that her kidnapping is a test of her abilities to successfully cast spells.
