Book 4, The Oracular Vulva Summary

Callie's parent's do not believe the emergency room diagnosis and insist she go to Dr. Philobosian one more time. Dr. Philobosian refers her to an endocrinologist who takes a large blood sample. That night, Callie listens at her parents' bedroom door trying to find out what is going on. A couple of days later, they are off to New York. Milton and Tessie try to pretend everything is fine, however, Callie can sense that there is a crisis brewing. The day after they arrive, they go to see the specialist. The doctor's office is at New York Hospital behind a door labeled "Sexual Disorders and Gender Identity Clinic."
