Book 2, Minotaurs Summary

Cal writes more about himself, that he'll never be able to have children and that he's moved around all of his adult life, especially since he became a man. No one at work knows that he is a hermaphrodite and only a few close friends know. Cal is never quite sure how to tell people about his physical condition and so he retreats. Cal sees the Asian woman again on the train and this time he gets her name, Julie, from northern California. The two are going out on a date.

Desdemona and Sourmelina conceived on the same night after a night at the theater. The two couples go to see The Minotaur together. After the initial euphoria over the pregnancies wear off, the men realize how insignificant they are in the whole.....
