Chapters 9 through 14 Summary

In chapter nine, Michael tells Ostin about their club and asks him to come up with a name for it. Michael and Ostin are at lunch and Taylor joins them at their table. A short time later, several others - basketball players and cheerleaders - join them. Taylor tells them about a party planned for after the coming basketball game and invites Michael and Ostin to join them. That afternoon, Michael encounters Jack, Wade, and Mitchell. Jack asks if there's still a problem and Michael insists they get him out of detention. The three, still apparently afraid of being shocked again, agree. That Friday, Michael tells his mother he plans to go to the game and she agrees.
