Message in a Bottle

Theresa is running on the beach in Cape Cod when she finds a bottle on the beach. Inside is a love letter from a man to his wife or lover that causes Theresa to cry. Theresa's editor, Deanna, talks her into publishing the letter in her newspaper column.

Second Letter

A woman calls Theresa the week after the message in the bottle appears in her column and tells her that she also found a letter written by the same man to the same woman. Theresa has the woman fax the letter to her.

Third Letter

Theresa does some research on messages in bottles and discovers an article that contains a portion of a letter that matches the style of the two letters she has already found. Theresa pays the author three hundred dollars for a copy of the letter. It is this third letter...
