Chapters 4-5 Summary

In chapter four, Theresa is doing research on autism and decides to look up articles on messages in a bottle as well. In one of these articles, Theresa finds a quote from a letter that must be a third letter written by the mysterious Garrett. Theresa calls the author of the article and offers to buy a copy of the letter from him. When it arrives, Theresa is happy to find that it is also written to Catherine by Garrett, like the other two letters. Theresa takes all three letters to Deanna and together they begin doing some research to find out where Garrett might live. They learn the name of a dive shop that is mentioned in a letter by calling a list of dive shops operating in the Wilmington area, then they learn that the Garrett Blake they have located is the same...
