Summary

In Chapter 16, Donald went to Detective O’Donnell and told her that it was Viv who had accidentally shot Jack. He asked the detective to wait until the following day to tell Jack what had happened, giving Donald a chance to tell Jack in person. Donald got a text from Viv asking him to meet her at the stables to talk. When he arrived, she was in the area riding Mercury. He knew this was what she thought of as her most persuasive argument.
