Dirk Pitt

Major Dirk Pitt, an Air Force officer, with dark sea-green eyes and dark hair, sometimes has a split personality where he is a man who sometimes is cold and efficient and makes no mistakes, while other times he is fun, unpretentious and makes friends easily. Pitt can sometimes be moody, often withdrawing into himself for hours. So far, no one has located the key to unlock the door between the two Pitts.
