Chapter 6 Summary

Facing von Till for the first time, Pitt is reminded of the typical villain of late night television, with the unsmiling features of the typical German face—unshaven head, shifty eyes and absent neck. The huge white dog at von Till's side is daunting as well. Von Till welcomes Pitt and is surprised when Pitt introduces himself as Major Dirk Pitt.
