Summary

In Chapter 27, "Wendell's Mother," Lori gives up Google stalking Boyfriend, only to cyber-stalk her therapist instead. She finds an interview with his mom about a time when he got lost on a family vacation when he was thirteen. She goes down a dark rabbit hole and discovers a Yelp listening for Wendell that rates him as a therapist. This leads her to Angela L.'s account, whose reviews she reads. She notices that her reviews start off negative and gradually become positive. Her review for Wendell is her first five star one. Then the reviews stop entirely. Lori also discovers a ten-page Q&A with his mom that covers Wendell's family history. Even though she knows what she is doing is an invasion of privacy and self-destructive, Lori keeps clocking and looking. She is ashamed of her behavior, but cannot help herself. She...
