Summary

Sydney writes romantic lyrics for Ridge, and he asks her if she has feelings for him. He asks her to sing for him and she does. He plays the guitar for her but has her wear earplugs to feel the sound in her body more than her ears, the way he experiences music. When Ridge tells Sydney the name of his band, she realizes that she has been a fan for a while.

In Chapter 8, Ridge and Sydney continue working on their lyrics together for his new songs. Sydney sings while Ridge rests his head on her chest to feel the vibrations and immerse himself more fully in the music.
