Summary

In Chapter 27, During a talk with Lola, Marnie suggests that Noah and his family should have gotten the house, but Lola quickly tells Marnie that Blix thought Noah was an “unevolved scoundrel” (207). Lola tells Marnie that she does not think Blix would approve of Marnie letting Noah continue to stay there.
