Point of View

In the first chapter we have a whole chapter from Annabelle's point of view. We know what she thinks as well as what she says. We see her in action and get a hint of her character and her past.

In the second chapter we have Heath's point of view. The reader sees him in action at a sports bar when he is networking with other athletes. As the chapter progresses, the reader is allowed into his head to see some of his backstory. The reader realizes his greatest need is to find a woman who will be loyal and supportive of him. He wants a woman who will stick.
