Chapters 9-16 Summary

Finals week arrives at Duchesne and all the students prepare for the tests. A Red Blood named Ava Breton, a sophomore like Bliss, asks her about the masquerade party. Bliss reveals the location and the date, thinking the more present, the better. But Bliss also realizes Mimi is going to be upset.

Schuyler is packing her things. Her grandfather is not the patron or guide she was hoping him to be, but is instead a lonely, scared old man who has no interest in the Blue Bloods.
