Summary

In Chapter 17, “The Bruiser,” Marc has finished restoring each piece of the bike and puts it back together. Jake goes to the garage, but he says that he would not really be helping Marc if he put the bike back together for him. Instead, he wants Marc to learn how to do the project by himself in order to become self-sufficient. Jake offers some advice about where to start and holds the bike steady when Marc cannot hold it alone. When it is together, Marc is amazed. The bike is almost completely black and “like a bike that could be used for Warrior Kid missions” (Location 1365). Jake says it needs a name and provides Marc with a letters.
