Chapter 30 Summary

It is just before Christmas. Grayson has finally moved out of the YMCA and into the storage room with Magee. They decorated with things like a wreath on the door and a tree. Grayson makes a reindeer out of wood big enough for Magee to ride. They even went out into the woods and decorated a pine tree with things found in nature.

Chapter 30 Analysis

For both Magee and Grayson, Thanksgiving and Christmas is very special. This is because neither one of them has had many good family holidays in the past. Now they both have a home and someone to share these special holidays with. They are both so happy that they go all out for these special days.
