Chapter 13 Summary
Amanda has no problem giving up her room for Magee. Magee is the model houseguest, playing with the twins and the dog, cleaning up after himself, and helping with the housework. One night Mrs. Beale checks in on Magee to find him sleeping on the floor instead of the bed; he could not stand being too comfortable. Soon Mrs. Beale finds herself with little work to do. This is because the twins spend so much time with Magee and listen to whatever he says. They use to hate getting a bath, but with Magee they never put up a fight and love it. One day Magee gets red spots all over his body. He goes to the doctor and they discover he is allergic to pizza; something he had never eaten before.
