Chapter 24 Summary

Raymond accidentally eludes Marco's agents several times, and then his mission begins. Chunjin drives him to the Jordan house and gives Shaw a gun with a silencer. Raymond replies that he feels bad about what he has to do. Jordan is awake, and Raymond chats with him dully. Finally, Jordan notices that Shaw is holding a gun, and asks him about it, terrified. He shouts. Jocie enters, just as Raymond shoots her father in the head. As his wife screams, Raymond shoots the senator again. Then he turns the gun on Jocie, shooting her twice. Shaw is immediately overcome with grief, but completes his mission by returning to Chunjin's truck. The next day, in the Iselin home, Johnny Iselin makes a statement that the assassination confirms that Jordan had been in league with.....
