This scene takes place in The Hall of Westminster at the trial of Sir Thomas More. The jury is made up of the hats of the common man. The common man is trying to tip toe off the stage, but Cromwell stops him, telling him he is the foreman.
Cranmer and Norfolk sit on the throne while Norfolk read the charges and gives More one more chance to take the oath to the Act of Succession, but More refuses. Cromwell reads the charge that More denied the King the title of Supreme Head of the Church in England. More tells him that the Bible considers silence to be consent, rather than denial. He begins to understand that the trial is rigged.
Norfolk tells More that his life is in his own hands. More.....
