Summary

In Chapter 29, Hearthstone casts a traveling rune that returns them to the Big Banana in Midgard. The crew of the Big Banana greet them, and they explain what happened in Alfheim. Magnus admits to everyone that he can now understand animals. Alex teases him, calling him Doctor Doolittle. Samirah asks if he has noticed any other effects, and admits that she is worried about Magnus. Mallory tests out the whetstone on her twin daggers, and finds that it works impressively. She decides to hold onto the whetstone and keep it safe.

She tells Magnus not stress about his new ability. She explains that the dragon’s blood probably just enhanced the abilities he had naturally as a son of Frey. Magnus worries that he took away some of Hearthstones heritage, but Hearthstone reassures him that having the Othala rune back is enough. They...
