Summary

In Chapter 21, Pottery Barn comes to the rescue by hurling themselves from a third story window onto Hrugnir. Mist Calf moves, and Magnus sees that Alex has not lost consciousness. He decides to help T.J. first. He sends Jack to defend Alex, but warns him to do so without actually fighting. Magnus puts his hand against T.J.’s chest and summons the power of Frey. Magnus Heals T.J.’s injuries, which are severe.

As Magnus heals T.J., he sees bits of T.J.’s memories. T.J. wakes and warns Magnus that Hrungnir has freed himself of Pottery Barn. Magnus rolls, and T.J. shoots Hrugnir in the eye, blinding him. T.J. urges Magnus to go help Alex. When he gets to her, Mist Calf has gotten stuck to Jack after trying to swat him away.
