Chapter 4, Cold Heart Summary

It is now October. Lucy had never experienced the fall season. When Lucy was young, she learned how seasonal change worked in school and noted that all the rich people in the world lived in the places with four seasons. She notes that she thinks it is nice to have too many things, but Mariah thinks her problem is having too much; she wants to have less.
