Chapters 23-25 Summary

In Chapter 23, Chub falls asleep with his hand in the water and the decaying blue crab claw attracts another hungry blue crab. Chub wakes from the pain of the attacking crab. At that same moment, Amber attempts to fix the initials on Shiner's tattoo, talking to him about the club and the possibility that Chub and Bode might attempt to throw him out. Krome and JoLayne approach the camp and nearly grab Bode, but stop when they realize that he is too close to his camp. Chub refuses to allow anyone to help him with the crab that is now stuck to his hand. Instead, he turns his attention to riding them of Shiner.
