Point of View

Luckiest Girl Alive is told by 28-year-old TifAni “Ani” FaNelli. She tells her story in the first person point of view. She tells the stories of her high school experiences and of her preparation for a documentary about a shooting at her school in the past tense because both parts of her life are finished. In this instance, Ani’s viewpoint is unique because she is the only one who can tell her story. She is the only one who knows the things she knows about what led up to the school shooting.

Ani tells her entire story. The filming of the documentary is the first chance she has to tell her story. She hopes to redeem herself and prove to those who have blamed her for the shooting that she had nothing to do with it. She was as much a victim as those...
