Chapter 6 Summary

The trees separate and three creatures from the Fantastical World enter the meadow. The three beings were very small and only about Mallory's height, two of which have green skin and green eyes. One of them is slightly different with brown skin and red hair. Simon asks if they are elves but nobody answers. The green-skinned female is the first to speak to the siblings.

She is surprised that someone is able to follow the path and find their way to the meadow. Very few humans have apparently made it past all the Faerie tricks. The red-haired elf introduces himself as Lorengorm and tells them that the elves would like to make a bargain with the siblings.

Jared nervously asks them what they want. He is nervous because despite their beauty the elves did not show any emotion on their faces. The elves...
