Summary

George, Atticus, Montrose, Abdullah, and other members of the lodge sneak in to the museum one night. They find a secret door with runes on it. As a descendant of Titus Braithwaite, Atticus is able to use his blood to open the door. They enter a secret passage and manage to avoid the deadly traps. They retrieve the Book of Names unharmed. However, they are then met by Caleb and Captain Lancaster. Caleb threatens to kill Abdullah and his family if Abdullah does not hand over the book. Abdullah reluctantly does so. Before Caleb leaves, he gives Montrose Adah’s ledger and $300,000, which is the total money owed in the ledger. The narrative then shifts focus to Hippolyta, who is the wife of George and mother of their 12-year-old son Horace. Since childhood, Hippolyta has had a passion for astronomy. When she was nine...
