Lawrenceville is the town in which Amy, her parents, Caro, Patrick, Julia, and Julia's mother live. Not much is said about Lawrenceville, presumably because it isn't too exciting, as kids prefer to go to hang out and party in nearby Millertown. Lawrenceville is also the location of Lawrenceville High School, and the cemetery.

Millertown is a larger, more attractive town situated near Lawrenceville. Kids from Lawrenceville go to Millertown to hang out and party. Millertown is the location of the party from which Amy and Julia drive away, which results in the accident that kills Julia.
