Chapters 17-24 Summary

Chapter 17 - Amy's mother knows something happened at the cemetery. She checks on Amy every few minutes until Amy comes downstairs. Amy stays up late, remembering how they scammed into Splash World, made caramel in her kitchen, or how Julia always knew the words to love songs. Amy also knows in her heart that Julia was aware of the grain alcohol incident, and her sticking by Amy in the hospital through recovery was Julia's way of saying she was sorry. Amy also realizes that her decision to drink was always her own decision to make.
