The Enchanted Hill

The Enchanted Hill is Stargirl's favorite place to meditate or "mind wash." It's a vacant hill next to a white, stucco building and a one-minute bike ride from Stargirl's house. The first time she meditated there, the sun shone through her closed eyelids giving her the feeling that she was basking in gold.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is Stargirl's pet rat. He has a beautiful brownish-red coat, which is the color of cinnamon, beady eyes, and a perfect nose for kissing. He is constantly in Stargirl's pocket and a bonding agent for many of the friendships that Stargirl forms.

Margie's Diner

Margie's Diner is where all the characters in the novel get their doughnuts. It is a tiny diner with four counter seats and a few small tables. The place is run by a pudgy woman named Margie, who bakes all the doughnuts herself.
