Summary

In Chapter 19, Ren and Lina strolled through a gallery of Matteo’s photographs as they waited for him to get finished with a class. Lina recognized right away why her mother had loved Rossi’s style so much. When Ren pointed out that Matteo had a picture Hadley had taken of Lina when she was a small child, Lina realized that Rossi knew about her. She decided she did not want to meet Matteo at all. They were on their way out the door when Matteo called Lina by her name and asked her to come to his office.

In Chapter 20, in the office, Matteo suggested that Ren and Lina had questions about his programs. Ren played along. Lina asked him about the Hadley Emerson photograph. He said that it was a gift to him from Hadley. Matteo took them downstairs to show...
