Chapter 11 Summary

Ralph, Piggy, and the twins gather on the beach where the fire should be. Piggy convinces Ralph to blow the conch and call an assembly. Piggy, the twins, and some littluns meet Ralph on the platform. Ralph suggests they tidy up their appearance, talk to the others, and remind them that they are not savages. The twins break in and suggest they bring spears, even Piggy, because they might need them. Ralph yells about needing the conch to speak. Piggy says he wants to go tell Jack what he thinks. Someone says he will get hurt, and Piggy asks what can Jack do to him that he has not already done. He says he will demand his glasses back because it is the right thing to do. Ralph says they will go with.....
