Summary

In Chapter 4, A Wild Weird Clime, several of the Shadowhunters are looking around the ruins of Malcolm's house. Christina finds a leather glove with the symbol of the Unseelie King, one of the faerie courts. Mark says the glove would have belonged to someone high in the court and that it indicates a connection between Malcolm and the Unseelie King. They also find a demon tentacle that they know is proof Malcolm's death is connected to the recent influx of sea creatures. They later do research and find out the demon – a Makara – only remains intact on land a day or two. The tentacle begins to dissolve and they know someone recently summoned this demon. With Malcolm dead, they do not know who.

Later, Ty and Kit talk about an injury on Kit's hand. Ty offers to perform a healing rune. Kit allow...
