Point of View

This story is told from the viewpoint of a third person narrator. The narrator is not involved in the action of the story but records the thoughts and actions of certain characters. Different parts of the story focus on different characters. The main character who are of focus in the story are Maggie, Medicine Ed, Tommy and Two-Tie. The narrator knows and reports on the thoughts, actions and emotions of these three characters. The narrator has less insight into the thoughts and emotions of the other characters. He is able only to describe the actions of these characters and report on what they have to say.
