Summary

Chapter 5 is titled “Call of Duty” and much of the action takes place on Burman Street. Bryson Wills is home from school. His parents leave him home alone, warning him not to spend the entire day playing video games and to remember to eat. Bryson's body hurts from the previous day, and he fully intends to play video games the entire day. The events that led to this happened the previous day and Bryson had seen videos, showing him swinging his arms and desperately trying not to fall. Since then, he had deleted all the apps from his phone so that he would not have to see any more. Meanwhile, Ty Carson is at school and feels that everyone is watching him, though he knows the rumor has changed since the previous day. He catches several people who stop talking just as he arrives...
