Chapters 5 and 6 Summary

Marnie is just going in to watch David and his team, the Tornadoes, play a soccer game when Law catches up with her. He buys her a soda, buys popcorn for himself and the two of them take seats together. The Tornadoes are down, one to nothing, and then score to tie the game. With literally seconds left to play, David scores the winning point. As the game is being played, Law and Marnie talk about David. He says that his career would be damaged by the public scandal if the person writing the letters told the media that he is David's father. Marnie admits that she hadn't - until that moment - really considered what it could mean to Law. Law joins the team and several parents and fans for.....
