As Alex walks to the Prefecture de Police, obsessed with the twisted mind behind all of this, there is a flash and he suddenly sees a motorcycle heading toward him on the sidewalk. He jumps into the street, arms wide, balanced to jump to either side. Then he notices that no one else seems concerned.
