Summary

When Chris comes back from California in Chapter 16, he immediately tells Vann about the assault by the "ninja threep" in John Sani's apartment. He also tells her that this is a new kind of transport unlike any other he has seen before and about the data card that was for John's family that the "ninja threep" tried to steal. Chris wants to go back to the Navajo Nation to talk to John's family and see if they would know any of John's password. Chris finds out that John's apartment was being paid for by a company called Digital Filament but the only American address he has for the company is John's apartment.
