Chapter 16 - The Jamaica Version Summary

Bond leaves the bait store and drives to a motel to get some sleep. When he wakes up the next day he writes a report to the FBI telling them about what happened with The Robber. He calls the hospital to check on Leiter but the man is still unconscious. Bond is worried about his friend and instructs the hospital to call him in Jamaica with any news. He then drives to the airport and catches his flight to Jamaica. When Bond lands he is met by the chief Secret Service agent for the Caribbean, Strangways. Strangways tells Bond background information. It has always been rumored that the pirate Bloody Morgan hid his treasure on the Isle of Surprise several hundred years ago, but it was never found.
