Chapter 2 - Interview with M Summary

Chapter two takes place two weeks before chapter one. This chapter gives background on the case and reveals what Bond is doing in New York. Bond is meeting with his boss, M, in the Secret Service building in London. M tells Bond they will be working with Stations A and C, which stand for the United States of America and the Caribbean respectively. M tosses Bond a coin, which Bond examines determines it to be a Rose Noble of Edward IV, an old gold coin. M has a pile of other gold coins on his desk which he says are all from before 1650.
