Marcus Yallow, aka W1n5t0n, aka M1k3y

Marcus Yallow is the main character and narrator of the novel. Marcus is a senior at Cesar Chavez High. He is a computer geek and gamer. He is also known by the screen name of W1n5t0n as well as M1k3y to the Xnetters. He enjoys figuring out ways fool the ever-increasing surveillance gear intended to keep tabs on his and his friends at school. Marcus and three of his friends are "detained" by the Department of Homeland Security when they are found on the streets after a terrorist attack on San Francisco.
