Two Sisters Summary

There are two sisters named Edna and Dorothy. Their father refused to let them date as teenagers although they are both sexually promiscuous. When they leave home Edna marries and Dorothy goes off to study art. The man that Edna marries is quite a bit older than her and she soon finds that he has sexual encounters with numerous men. Edna is upset by this information and leaves her husband and finds a younger lover named Robert. When Dorothy comes home she finds that Robert and Edna are living together. Dorothy hates Robert feeling that he broke up her sister's marriage and belittles Robert whenever she finds a chance.
