Chapters 10-11 Summary

Chapter 10. Sarah quits her job after speaking to Little Bee and immediately has second thoughts. However, when she goes to tell Little Bee and Lawrence of her decision, she discovers Charlie is missing. Sarah runs all along the river, searching for her son. Eventually Lawrence takes control, organizing the search and sending Little Bee to call the police. Moments after Little Bee leaves, Lawrence finds Charlie in a dark drainage pipe.

Chapter 11. Little Bee waits for the police and then panics when one of the cops asks who she is and how she is related to the missing child. Little Bee tries to run, alerting the cop to her fear. The cop has Little Bee taken to a station for fingerprinting and she later learns that she will be held over for deportation. Sarah comes and Little Bee tells...
