Chapter 12, Peter's First Battle Summary

Peter, Susan, Lucy, and the Beaver's arrive at the Stone Table after many hours walking through the quickly evolving spring. When they reach the hill on which the Stone Table sits, the children can see the sea. Soon they reach the crest of the hill and find a huge table set in the middle of a clearing along with a pavilion. In the clearing is a group of Narnian creatures that includes everything from Tree-women to centaurs, to unicorns and bulls with the heads of men. Among these creatures is a great lion that they know to be Aslan.
